What is the shelf life of the products?
The products can be stored unopened for up to 3 years. Please store in a dark place at room temperature. DO NOT FREEZE! DO NOT COOK! This will result in the loss of important nutrients.
Why does the product sometimes smell like sulfur?
If a sulfur smell develops with the product, it does not affect the quality of the product. The active substances in the moor continue to work independently and can therefore form slight fermentation gases. If you are unsure, please call us.

How do I achieve the best possible effect when using the vital baths?
For musculoskeletal complaints, we recommend a course of vital baths. This means a maximum of 10 baths in a row. These should be enjoyed at regular intervals spaced within approximately 3 weeks. Resting after the bath, which should last a maximum of 25 minutes, is an important component.
How do I get the peat to the right spot?
Our 1 kg packages include fleece bags. The warmed or cold peat is placed inside these. Then, apply it to the painful area with the dark side of the bag facing the skin. If fleece bags are not available, the peat pack can also be applied directly to the skin and secured with cling film (as an example).
When to apply the warm vitality pack?
The excellent heat-retaining properties of peat allow the application of the vital pack to be maintained for a very long time in both heat and cold.
For all chronic ailments, the peat mud should be heated to a maximum of 60°C (preferably in a water bath – DO NOT BOIL!). However, you can also fill the peat mud cold into the fleece bag and enjoy it directly on the body parts by applying a heat source (like a hot water bottle or hot packs). Please leave it on the body for approx. 20-30 minutes.
The cooling application can even be extended for several hours and is very easy to handle with the application of a cold pack or a bag full of ice.

Why does this therapeutic peat have such a long-lasting effect?
Through the inclusion of over 300 herbs in Neydharting healing moor and the biochemical processes occurring beneath the surface of the water in our lowmoor, we can demonstrate through peloid analyses and other studies that the herb mixture as well as the active humic and fluvic acids can effectively enter the body through the skin or mucous membranes. The body then metabolizes these biological and pure products quickly and effectively.
